Hey all

My car seems to be running hot all the time.

It gets up to temp at 92 deg in a few minutes and sits there if I'm driving along. once I stop, it quickly climbs, expecially on a warm day. The fans kick in somewhere near 100 deg, then return to 92.

The thermostat seems to open at around 90 deg, I felt the pipe as it warmed up.

Does this all seem OK? I'm a bit concerned about running it so close to boiling. Previous 306s I've had run at about 81 deg.

Cheers!

You're aware you can edit your own posts, right?

Yes, start by bleeding it *properly*, with a plastic bottle in the reservoir, make sure there are no air locks.

Make sure there aren't too many dead birds in the radiator, possibly consider getting a Nissens in there instead?
