Hey allMy car seems to be running hot all the time. It gets up to temp at 92 deg in a few minutes and sits there if I'm driving along. once I stop, it quickly climbs, expecially on a warm day. The fans kick in somewhere near 100 deg, then return to 92. The thermostat seems to open at around 90 deg, I felt the pipe as it warmed up. Does this all seem OK? I'm a bit concerned about running it so close to boiling. Previous 306s I've had run at about 81 deg. Cheers! |

You're aware you can edit your own posts, right?Yes, start by bleeding it *properly*, with a plastic bottle in the reservoir, make sure there are no air locks. Make sure there aren't too many dead birds in the radiator, possibly consider getting a Nissens in there instead? ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |
