Looking at getting a set of metal gear linkages for my 306 soon, and thought I would fit a quickshift at the same time.

Anyway, was going to go with a Griffiths Engineering one, which can be seen here: http://www.griffiths-engineering.co.uk/

And then I come across one at Constella Styling and Tuning: http://www.constella.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=54&category_id=35&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=28

Both of them are classed as 'quickshifts' but they look completely different to each other. Are there two parts to a quickshift? Or if I only need one of them, anybody have any experience with either of them?

Cheers

Look here and you will find the same thing or 99.99%

http://www.compbrake.co.uk/Parts-by-Car-Manufacturer/Peugeot/206/PEUGEOT-206/306-QUICK-SHIFT/prod_390.html

The thing they do not tell you thou it's not really suitable for the 6 speed box as you need to make something for the reverse cable to work.

As for GE, well they have to be the most un helpful company in existence, ring them up and you'll see what I mean

Cheers for that Miles. I will almost certainly go for the one from Comp Brake since it is almost half the price of the other one which looks exactly the same.

My car is actually an XS anyway not a GTi-6, therefore a 5 speed box, so I am assuming it should be a straight fit with no extra mods required like you say a 6 speed box would?

Thanks for your help.

Does anyone know if the inserts for this to be compatible with the 306 gear lever are available separately? I have the base bt cannot find the sleeves?
