Hey all

My brakes were fine up till a few days ago. They feel like sponge and i have to pump them couple of times to stop!! The brake pedal pretty much goes to the floor and my ABS is no longer working (tested it a few times) Could it be the ABS pump? My car is phase 2.

I know it cant be the discs or pads as they have been done not to long ago.

Would appreciate some help. ThanksSmile

Sounds like a seal in the master cylinder has gone.
Not realy advisable to drive the car like that.

Probs around the £120 mark at a garge, not sure how much a new mc costs.
Easy to fit, hard part is bleeding the brakes afterwards

Is there any fluid leaking from under the car/bonnet for starters?
Check your flexi's front and rear. Check the inside of the wheels for brake fluid where it's dripped down the caliper/disc. Check all the flexis are tight going into the caliper, may of come loose.
Is there fluid in the reservoir?

I've had a set of flexis go porous before, brake fluids leaking through the flexi line. No splits
