hi all, i am thinking of fitting a zx single wiper to my rallye and was wondering if the centre fixing point where our wipers fit is ok to cut away to make room for the zx motor..?..this part in the piccy...thanks for any help

If I got rid of it I would make up a couple of plate strips, and bolt them in place either side. Just in case the scuttle becomes to flexy and cracks.

i have got to weld some strips in any ways to mount the motor...just needed to know if that piece there is removed, it would'nt cause an issue...as that piece is in the way...

yea i have already done a test fit...the motor has to be turned 180 degrees...just need to make up two or three new brackets and then i can get them welded in...cheers for your help guys Big grin

i have just wired it up and it works ok...tried the wiper arm on it whilst holding it in situ and it does a full sweep of the screen...welding it in next weekend...i'll get the piccys up then...Big grin
