Hi,

Could anybody confirm that a rear beam from a Phase 2 GTi-6 will fit my Phase 3 1.8 XS? Have managed to source a rear beam and have been told the GTi-6 beam would be a good upgrade (slightly stiffer apparently) so just want confirmation it will fit before I go and collect it. My XS does have rear discs by the way.

Also, have been offered the shocks and calipers together with the beam. Therefore, I was wondering if the shocks and calipers are
a straight swap on my XS too? I imagine if anything the shocks may be a little stiffer than mine, which would be a good upgrade if anything.
And then calipers, again will these fit, I imagine most rear discs on 306s were the same size, but I could be wrong.

Really appreciate any help so I can decide whether to get this. The main thing is whether the beam will fit or not.

Cheers

Ash

yup shouild fit just fine.

most of it will be an upgrade, discs etc are all the same though, phase 3 might have EBD and different brake hoses and no compensator, so you'll need to retain your original parts if its a phase 2 beam.
