Can anyone tell from these photos if this is the right kit for a gti-6?

Bought this kit off ebay, never been used. Guy states in his ad that its part number 2050S9 which going by service box is the correct kit.

But the box has an old part number rubbed out and replaced with hand written part number for a 6 clutch.

From these photos can anyone tell me if ive been bent over or not? Unsure

Cheers

Yes and don't be swayed that it's marked up for another car our bottom ends are used in a lot of other cars! Wink

Thats not really an option, cant do the work myself so will be a right pain for whoever does it to get the old one out only to find the one i supplied doesnt fit.

That and i really need to get onto making a dispute on ebay about being sold an item with a false description now after i have just received it rather than in X-months time when i get round to having it done... Unsure

What size should it be and which bit am i measuring?

Well the 2050S9 is a gti-6 clutch kit according to service box.

Assuming the patr number rubbed out will be in accordance to the ZX di 1.9L Turbo etc written on the box.

Cheers

not a lot I doubt, probably the springs in the centre plate and that's about it, the peak torque figures between the XUD9TE and the XU10J4RS aren't too dissimilar, and that's what kills clutches (as well as abuse...)
