So as some of you know I bought this back in november has been off the road for a while due to funds and being out of work but now that I'm working again I'm on a mission to get back behind the wheel again! Smile

So bought with 118k on the very little paperwork and a few mod's I feel I got a decent base for a project so far the car came fitted with nimrods which are up for sale soon lowered at a guess around about -50mm to -60mm seems quite low pipercross viper kit strut brace and a so called s/s straight through de-cat system which turned out not to be the case Angry:

So while I was out of work I couldn't afford to sort the knackered brakes out then ran out of t&t managed to drum some dosh up with a fail sheet in my hand I set to work sorting out the issue's!

So far I've replaced the following
Front and rear discs pads
Compensator valve bracket with new mounting bolts
Injector seal
Brake pipe
Number plates (front was broke so did both)
Put bulbs in correct way and repaired melted wires with help from a mate
Fitted a cat, centre box an new lambda

The tester put down wheels hitting body and a tyre was below limit so sorted a part worn out then started looking into spacers and couldn't believe the prices Shock
With funds tight I scrapped that idea an started looking at alternatives in the form of a set of mixed speedline and smr 5x 205 1.9 GTi alloys with good tyres.

All I need to do now is get a set of locking bolts fit the wheels get the powerflow back box adjusted to fit properly then she's ready to go back in for mot! It has been a slow process with money being tight but its getting there.

Plans are once back on road to do general service plugs oil engine an gearbox check all rubber mounts an bushes etc.... Might need a clutch to as its been sat on my parents drive for a while due to them moving I had to move the car and noticed the clutch slipping a little so something I'll have to see if I can do myself or get prices!

Anyway here's some pictures any comments or advice welcome Smile

This was with a full car lol

And the new rims to go on unsure if they will suit it or not painted how they are? Opinions!

Nice that! Best colour too IMO. Black wheels look excellent on blaze so should look quite good, not too sure about the red rim though.

looks like a good base for a project. I'm missing my blaze already!
my opinion on the wheels is that peugeot graphite grey is the best colour for wheels on a blaze as it makes the tires look black whereas black wheels make your tires look brown. I painted my 205 speedlines graphite in the centre with a silver rim like the 205 griffe special edition. Looks well nice on blaze. (my two pence worth)
Good luck with the project.

Thanks for your input after I seen some pictures of a goodwood 309 that's what I've had in my head since! What silver did you use? And do you by any chance have a picture of said wheels on car?

Are they 50 or 55 profile tyres as they look quite small?
Look good none the less.
Cars defo too low, must bounce around quite a lot. I couldn't entertain lowering mine cause the roads around here are a bit rough to say the least! Standard genuine suspension for best handling in my opinion. Rides nice too.

They're a 50 profile as for how much its lowered by I have no idea previous owner didn't have a clue! Surprisingly though it is very comfortable to drive doesn't bounce around or at least I haven't noticed it bouncing anyway. I think I will respray though!

I bought a lowered dturbo and found it kind of lurched out of the dips mid corner which was a bit scary. I put it back to standard within a couple of days. I think it had PI springs. Cheap shit I expect.

When you say re-spray do you mean colour change or a re-fresh?

Colour change either satin black, graphite grey trying to decide what would suit blaze and some bits of carbon fibre!

Not yet no have started rubbing down my spare wheel going with graphite grey, am hopefully going to cash sometime this week to have the exhaust done an get it mot'd at least. Unfortunately its going to be slow at the moment but should pick up in a couple of months when my mrs maternity leave finishes.

I'm hoping my clutch issue is just the cable aswellwill see how it is when being driven everyday again.

You won't be disappointed with Peugeot graphite grey. Especially with some shiny lacquer on there. It matches the colour of the grey spoiler and door rubbing strips really well.
