hi fellas, another one of 'those' threads...

The car's developed a bit of a rough idle, after a couple of minutes it splutters and stalls. Also when accelerating it refuses to go over 2.5k RPM. When up to temp it runs fine and fuel consumption is as good as ever, just done 200 miles and just under half a tank left.

Compression is fine and no smoke etc on start up. Replaced the lambda 3months ago and consumption is fine so i'm ruling that out. Plugs are all new genuine Pug ones. Found a break in the TPS wiring that i've soldered up so that's all good. ICV and TPS have been replaced in the last month.

My thoughts are possibly the green temp sensor? If it's reading high could it be causing the engine to run lean when cold causing the issues? And is it worth changing for the sake of 20 bucks?

Check your power steering sensor as well bud - seen them cause all sorts of odd running issues when shot ?

Wink

Could be the green sensor as well though
