Thanks for the useful information on your site! I've browsed quite a bit recently and there is a great wealth of info here, keep it up!

I have a 306 cabriolet (1995) with A/C having the hot/cold air inside the car that is controlled by a motor not by a cable. I've experienced the problem in this article:

http://www.peugeotlogic.com/workshop/wshtml/electric/ac306/heatcont/heatcont.htm

However when I was going to fit the new adapter plate, I noted that upon turning the ignition key, the motor always turns the plate about 120 degree turn, always in the same direction. The old plate was completely worn out and now I am afraid to fit the motor again since it seems that every time I turn the key, the motor will force the plate to turn no matter what - causing the same problem as before.

Deos anyone know anything about what this can be or what can I do? What could be causing this? How can I fix it? I am desperate since I can't find information about this on the internet!

thanks
Edmond
