Car is on around 90k which i know is about the lifetime of some clutches, but for all I know it have been previously replaced. It is biting very high and is quite difficult to get a smooth start without more revs than i think is normal.

I may have to get a new clutch but is there any chance it just needs the clutch cable adjusting? Im sure i have read somewhere that sometimes this is all it needs.

I am doing a trackday soon and do not want the clutch to burn out on me.

Cheers.

I would say clutch rather than cable.
