Hi guys, yet another problem with my lovely new car, just noticed tonight that the passenger seat won't stay in position, it just slides right to the back, anyone have any idea what could be causing this? |

i had a similar problem with my dturbo seats. it's a catch that is lifted when the tilt slide thing on the side for backseat passengers is used. if that's not hooked back on the seat slides. the catch is on the runners of the seat, from what i remember you might be able to click it back in or use wd40 or something to get it back working right. sorry i can't be more specific about the fix but it was a long time ago! ________________________________________ Never underestimate the power of De-Nile.Friday afternoon car, built in France.... 306gti6.com Stickers available, pm me for details. or email MjStones83@hotmail.com Sticker Thread with pics |

This used to happen in my dad's old d turbo -every now and again, hed get to a junction go to pull off and the seat would go flying back, he'd stall and then start swearing. Was f*cking hilarious!________________________________________ Cherry Red 306 HDIChampionship White Integra DC5 Type R |

I too, had the same experience in my old XNd with D-Turbo seats. As bennn and mjstones mentioned, the catch/runner on the seat frame is the culprit. It happened on the Rallye few years ago and the WD40 cured the issue for me. ________________________________________ 306 RALLYE |

The square edge locator on the catch can also wear. On mine i just took a file to it and reshaped it. Jobs was a gooden.________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

Mine also does this from time to time, slide the seat fully forward as though you were getting in the back and you should be able to the catch thing on the runner - make sure this is locked into place and not sliding free. |
