Also do i need to use the brake pad shims from the original pads on the 2500's......or can i do away with them?
Havent seen a brake pad shim on a car for years??

Fitted my 2500's today but they have no pad wear sensors so my brake wear light on the dash in on...how do i get round this??Also do i need to use the brake pad shims from the original pads on the 2500's......or can i do away with them? Havent seen a brake pad shim on a car for years?? |

The pad warning light should be off if nothing is connected so you must have a short somewhere, and you don't need the shims, no.________________________________________ Rich |

silly me.....ive just been out to check again and realised its just the handbrake light on.....lol,its been a long day!!!!!!!!!!!All is good then,just need to do the proper bedding in procedure! |
