i was tightning my cambelt tensioner when all of a sudden bang, the lot is in my hand, wasnt even doing it up major tight and first, the bolt that goes in the actual tensioner is fine, just theres another piece of metal that goes from tensioner into side of engine its snapped inside, how do i get this out some1 pleaseeee help thanks |

So you've just got a bit of thread stuck in the side of the block?Get a dremel with a small cutting disc on it, grind a slot into whats left and use a flatblade screwdriver to undo it. ________________________________________ www.krisb.co.uk |

yea the bit of thread is stuck on the block, ive tried that just cannot get a flat head onto it because of the space in the engine bay |

I have just done the same thing, where can you get the replacement part that goes inside the tensioner?? |
