Hi, while rummaging around under the bonnet of the S16 and scratching my head i noticed the vacuum pipe coming out of the ecu and wondered where it went to so started tracing it back towards the engine only to find the end of it connected to nothing!!! It had a T piece on the end of it so i thought it might be the pipe that goes to the avac diaphrams??? Can anyone confirm or correct this for me please. Many thanks,Matt.

No, that is the Map sensor (built into the ecu), it needs to be connected to one of the outlets on the inlet manifold on it's own.
