i have a 1.4i '97 phase 2

its jolting while driving mainly around 4000 rpm in 3rd / 4th gears, at idle its sat just below the 10 marker on the revs gauge and occasionally dies. If i rev up a couple times out of gear i also get misfire.

I had a worse problem with it jolting and revving up on its own, bubbling sound from exhaust and major power loss when i recently made a journey back up the M5 and found it was due to a HT Lead had shattered.

I replaced the HT Leads, the plugs and tried a spare MAP Sensor & Coil Pack which solved the bubbling / arcing and the main of the loss in power while driving ive tried cleaning the inlet areas around the induction kit to clear any crap out and red ex the fuel but was left with the problem at the top of my post any ideas please

***EDIT***

Ok after a new map sensor again, removal of both CIV Sensor and Lambda Sensor give em a clean and it seems to be ok now with a little revvin goin on when idle hope this helps someone else on here !
