got a used hdi nearside driveshaft ready to fit to my 6 but the abs teeth are indented and the ones on my gti driveshaft are sticking out? Would this mean i cant fit the hdi shaft? As they are slightly different? ________________________________________ ''Oh, it does handle like a golf!'' Why drive a Golf....when you can drive a GTi-6? |

if its off a 306 the thread will be the same, if it has abs ring it will work as long as its same number of teeth (29 iirc)________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I fitted a GTi6 shaft to a HDi with no problems and no ill effects on the ABS despite those differences. One is a shrunk on ring (which like to crack) and one is a machined CV cup but same principle of inductive pickup.________________________________________ I'm Si btwNight Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |
