May seem like an odd question but someone I work with said they thought that as the car would be registered as a 5seater vehicle, it would have to retain seatbelts?
discuss...

It might be worth ringing your mot station and asking, say you've removed the rear seats and belts, is it ok. the rules are changing all the time. Slightly O/T, i was told brake discs Cannot fail mot anymore on they're condition, they just have to meet the minimum requirement on the rollers. ________________________________________ My GTi6 track projectWhite Rallye project |

Im pretty sure that for every seat fitted there should be a seatbelt, so if the seats and belts are removed you should be fine. |

Most testers stick an advisory saying seats removed at time if test to cover them selfs! As for brake discs you can fail them if they look seriously weakened not for being pitted or scored ________________________________________ In my garage just now2003 BMW M3 & 2009 L200 Raging Bull & Audi Q5 S Line AX stock rod & Saxo Stock rod Sold the bike an charged rallye an bought a caravan, midlife crisis or what! |
