hi can anyone help,
my abs was working fine until the snow we had last year =/ everytime i was braking it would judder and one of the relays on the abs unit under the bonnet was making weird noises, then just packed up completly,
so i thought it was the abs little black box so i replaced that and still doesnt work,

does anyone know what it could be?
the ABS pump maybe?
Cheers

The first things to check if the ABS starts playing up is gapping and function of the sensors, and whether the toothed sensor rings are reasonably clean and free from corrosion. Could just be winter crud somewhere. You say "one of the ABS relays" which suggests the problem is just one wheel, pointing to a sensor or toothed ring problem. First thing to work out is which wheel. I had an ABS malfunction on another car once when the garage was replacing wheel bearings as the sensor was malfunctioning after they dented a couple of the teeth with a hammer!

I had the same problem and solved it after cleaning all sensors.
another option i can think of is water contaminating
the brake fluid in the ABS chamber (20cc volume)
this fluid won't Drain in the standard Drainage process and need special BOSCH system to drain it.
