Just wondering if you can fit rear disk backing plates without taking the caliper and disc off?
Thanks

You mean the disc protectors? Pretty sure you can, just two rusted up torx screws from the back IIRC.________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

Yes you can. There were 3 rusted up torx bolts on mine, you will also need to un-plug the ABS sensors from under the boot floor as they are threaded through the slot in the backing plate as well.________________________________________ 1999 Astor Grey GTi-6 OEM+ (now gone...)2004 Aegean Blue 206 GTi 180 (also gone...) 2006 Skoda Fabia vRS in Sprint Yellow honestly3k wrote: Do you wrestle for a living matt? Take them off to paint, decide they look shit and are fooked, throw them in corner of garage and tell yourself that the car looks better without them, that's what I did, ________________________________________ Team Supercharged Gti-6™ |

I'd imagine they keep a bit of crap off the discs in dirty weather, personally I put mine back on. Don't really like the idea of my discs being exposed that much.________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

I;ve never ran them on any of my car's over 20 years and if anything it's better, more air flow and no chance of getting a stone cult in them, Complete change of topic but Land Rovers etc take them off to for the same reason________________________________________ 306 Rallye Sptint/Race Car, 205 CTI 1.9 8v to name a fewRoad, Track and Race/Rally car preparation to your personal requirements, Full Workshop & Diagnostic Facilities New and Second parts, from Plugs to Turbo's We now also carry out Routine Servicing www.pugracing.com & FB Page, https://www.facebook.com/PugRacing Ebay; http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Pug-Racing-Shop 2012/2013/2014/2019 Class Winners at Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb & Joint overall, Class record too along the way, |
