i got a set of pug and had a freind who was gunna do it but was real tight goin ova the last part of the shaft are there 2 differnt size seals to fit n/side on a gti6

hope make some sence pug pete

This is a bit of a hi jack but i would be really careful. I just had the offside driveshaft to gearbox seal replaced at the garage. Drove the car home about 10 miles and it has leaked shed loads of gearbox oil out the driveshaft seal.

I jacked the car up to take a look and yup loads coming out of it.

probably pressed it in too far. mine leaked when putting it in initially but fine after a short drive LOL

Just bought these for my 6 and d-turbo from peugeot and they're the same part so i dont think there'll be many choices on size. left and right are totally different so u can mix them up.

Howdy - sounds like they didnt fit it correct or damaged it somehow when they fitted it.

If you aren't careful when fitting the driveshaft you can tear the seal with the splined end
