You can make a new flare on the pipes but you need a handheld flare tool which arnt the best.Be better off taking the complete damagd line off and taking it down a local factors and get them to make a new one. Should only cost a fiver or so |

There are two connectors under the car, make sure you don't cut anything the "car side" of that, else you'll end up having to replace the lines up to the bonnet. As long as you only damage lines the beam end, you can always get ones from another car, or make up your own from copper which is infinitely easier to flare. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

That's what I went and did because I was getting a little annoyed with the bolts! Oh well, its an excuse to renew the lines - anyone have an idea how much these are likely to be? |

Pug still sell the "hard" lines from caliper up to flexi for each side.I paid about £24 for the two recently, already bent to shape, proper fittings and everything. ________________________________________ 1999 Astor Grey GTi-6 OEM+ (now gone...)2004 Aegean Blue 206 GTi 180 (also gone...) 2006 Skoda Fabia vRS in Sprint Yellow honestly3k wrote: Do you wrestle for a living matt?
