HI, I AM LOOKING AT PUTTING A ELECTRIC SUNROOF IN MY 306HDI I HAVE HAD FOR A WHILE, AND FANCIED DOING IT AS A PROJECT OR SO.
WOULD A ELECTRIC SUNROOF GO INTO A NONE ELECTRIC SUNROOF MODEL, OR IS IT TOO MUCH MALARKY???.
ITS A W-REG 2000 MODEL HDI.
I AM THINKING THAT THEIR MUST BE SOME SORT OF SHELF INSIDE BETWEEN THE HEADLINING & ROOF FOR THE SUNROOF MECHANISM TO FIT INTO.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS JOB BE DONE PLEASE.

Permit me to ignore the capital letters and dignify your post with a response, but if you don't even know how a sunroof mounts can i suggest you don't go cutting holes in your roof.

Ordinarily, sunroofs utilise a cartridge which mounts via support brackets and is all hidden behind the headlining. I can't speak for the 306 as i've not seen them.
