i have recently found my self a very nice 6 that i plan to keep, i got it fairly cheap due to a suspected HG failure.
anyway, ive been running it for a few days now and not had any problems what so ever
there's no water in the oil and its not pressurising past normal as far as i can tell (its not spitting its water out)
ive done a quick search and seen that it could be the heat exchanger, whats the likelyhood of this? is it a regular/common thing with the xu engine as ive never seen it before?
im going to flush the system and connect the 2 hoses and see if there is any further oil to eliminate it
would be very p*ssed if i did the HG and found it was a part that i have loads of lying around
