HiStarted engine awful "popping" noise from engine, removed coil pack, spark plug melted and blew plug 1 of the coil pack. Anybody heard of this problem before and is the coil pack common with any other cars or engines? I have a 306 2.0 16v Xsi petrol 1996 R Reg, looking to pick up a used cheap coil pack to see if this fixes the problem. Thanks Alan |

Not that im aware, ive had the car around 2 years, never had any probs with the pack, just the exhaust keeps blowing but thats a different prob. |
