Hi all
I am in the middle of putting a gti-6 into the 206, just wondering has any one on here done that an what kind of problems did they have.

the loom (and ecu?) will be the biggest issue iirc

The loom an ecu are sorted (omex). Put the engine an box in an the bottom mount to the subframe didn`t fit an the engine was slopping down towards the drivers side, think those two isues are sorted then the shafts wouldn`t go in because the diff is lower than the centre bearing. I think the bell housing needs to be changed??

Out of interest, why did you go for the 6 engine over the 206 GTi 180 lump?

Have been for a spin in a 180 rally car with the same gear ratio`s as mine an it didn`t seem to go much better than my 138, also went in a xsara with the same ratio`s an it went alot better

probably needed an ecu update, known issue with those, they go much better with it done.

A be4 with a 4:9 cwp an just picked up a gti-6 box today to use the bell housing so i hope that will sort the gearbox angle out
