Hey there, im new on here and looking for my third 306 but first GTI 6. I have seen some adverts saying that the car has been cammed. What does this mean? how does it improve the cars performance?Any help would be great. cheers ________________________________________ Matt |

generally means they have installed uprated camshafts to improve performance and increase BHP...Should make it noticeably faster than a standard GTi6 ________________________________________ Team Moonstone� Ph3 GTI6Team Rallye |

on a good engine with some nice cams you'd expect a 10bhp increse maybe more________________________________________ white rallyecherry dead rallye s16 |

without putting a downer on it cars get adverstised as "cammed" but the previous owner probably not knowing even where the camshafts are in an engine  .that said, should have a lumpier idle, should pull stronger than a standard gti6 engine and sound abit different when "on cam" any reciepts of the cams, ecu remap or does it have a different ecu? ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

probably had some pugperformance cams chucked in if anyanyone know how much they claim to increase bhp by? as i have them in the wallye |
