valve guides not replaced when the belt failed previously which causes them to tap. 99% of the time this is the case. sometimes it is loose spark plugs but this is a different sort of noise________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

gazza306 wrote: cant be breaking it.i need to get it sorted somehow As said above tapping is a sign of a poorly repaired head (usually following a belt snap) so you'll most likely have a big repair bill. ________________________________________ Cherry Red 306 HDIChampionship White Integra DC5 Type R |
