what are your symptoms? tapping?

Sad or rebuilt the head recently from belt failure?

valve guides not replaced when the belt failed previously which causes them to tap. 99% of the time this is the case. sometimes it is loose spark plugs but this is a different sort of noise

As said above tapping is a sign of a poorly repaired head (usually following a belt snap) so you'll most likely have a big repair bill.

it cost me £700 with 1yr mot 100k on clock

i have had new cambelt water pump anothe power steering pump new tyres all round.

was just starting to get it together then the noise started to get a bit louder ,

really dont want to break the car as i love the colour
