Hi, replacing my rear shocks, would appreciate some recommendations, have been advised to get the gas shocks.I Dont use my Rallye for track, just road, but would like to have better ones than the standard factory fit.Budget would be about £150.Cheers Rodders |

What is on the front and has it been lowered/modified? The proper standard Peugeot shocks are very good, lots better than a lot of the low to medium budget aftermarket stuff. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

I hear Citroen ZX Volcane shocks are a good alternative if the rear has been lowered slightly - this may be something i look to do in the future.________________________________________ Team: Moonstone GTI-6™Team: ian7675 wrote: Remember....a 6 isn't just a car, it's a part time job |

Are these the ones you mean dave? Clicky Are they a no-no if you are still at standard height? Will standard pug ones be ok if you are lowered? Thanks ________________________________________ Still watching you... |

Thanks Sorry, I can;t give any more info other than my vague suggestion lol. Welshpug will probably be the best guy to ask seeing as he's got one. First off, thanks for taking the time to post here. I'm a bit of a numpty when it comes to cars/mechanics !Anyway I'm pretty certain that my Rallye has not been lowered front or rear, and has the standard suspension.Although last owner has modded other areas of the car i.e. rear spoiler, exhaust, air filter and headlights. I am tempted to just replace with standard rear shocks, I will have a chat with my local mechanic and see what he says. Once again thanks !! |
