Hi i put some new pads on the rear today (old ones had feck all left on them) barkes ahave always worked fine.
wound pistons back etc followed the guide and that, went for a long drive and my rear wheels are hot where the pads are binding.
have i not wound the pistons back far enough?

Check the handbrake cable?

hand was off when i fitted them and when pulled up still doesnt hold the car too well, do i need adjust it caliper end or hand brake end?

backed the handbrake rite off under the rear ashtray and still binding....

Pull out the 19mm slider/hub bolts from the back one at a time! Give them a light rub down, grease them right up and put them back in! They could be bone dry and sticking!

sounds like the hadbrake mech is seized in the caliper.

nice, shall give it a go tomorrow, to be fair the sliders do look dry and the whole lot looks corroded, sometimes i wish i didnt love the pug lol
