You'd not be able to hear it if the bonnet was down. sounds like it could be similar-ish to this one but no where near as f*cked and without the tapping. Any ideas?

It's a strange high pitch noise but not loud enough to hear with the bonnet down. I've asked a number of people now and with no luck so if anyone hear has any ideas i would be very interested. ________________________________________ arweeks

What does it drive, the aircon compressor, alternator? edit: found the FAQ HERE
