Hello guys.
I have to buy summer tyres for upcoming season. I am using my gti6 primary for trackdays on small tracks (cart). Last year I was using 195/50/15 Hankooks v12. Now I am considering to go a bit lower and harder with Toyo T1R 195/45/15.

I know that the look will be ugly, and the speedometer will not be correct - but that is not a problem for me. I need to know will I get any stability (better grip) and performace benefit if i go from 195/50 to 195/45?

Please advice me.

10x in advance

p.s. I can not get semislicks (r888 or similar), because of rules for my car class on theese trackdays.
