Hi

I've noticed recently that on the rear the drivers side suspension sits lower than the passenger side. I've had the car 5 months and it's been like it since i've owned it. I've noticed that there has been rubbing on the arch liners on both sides.
Could it be that it's been lowered before and not been done properly?
Could it be a damper on it's last legs?

Thanks

Won't be the damper, as they don't set the height.

Could be that it's been lowered badly yes, could be a worn torsion bar end that's spun.

How much lower is the one side than the other? It's not unusual for the two sides to be out by 10mm or so. Bear in mind uneven ground makes a big difference, so get all wheels on a perfectly flat surface and measure your arch heights Yes

Same as, the drivers rear wheel sits further in the arch than the passenger side. Yet another problem to fix on my 6

I've measured the height on both sides on level ground & the offside (driver) sits 15mm lower than the nearside (passenger) Mellow.
