Not sure if this is the right section apologies if its not.

Basically we have a project gti6, its in a right state virtually no interior, no air con thats been ripped out and no radiator! i did say it was a project, gonna be a sweet nipper little street racer.

basically were having trouble gettin the thing to fire. when turning on the ignition the engines just spining. we have changed the plugs.

theres a horrendous loud ticking noise coming from (i think) the realy on the back of the battery. also did some research intio the inertia switch that may have been activated as i think i should be solid but its not you can push it in. another issue is that i dont think im hearing a noise from the fuel pump on start up.

big list i know but im not that mechanically minded so if you guys could help with some pointers and check i could do that would be great. also will get camera out soon for a full project photo.

ok so my fuel pump is priming tried priming with just ignition on, then it wont prime any more and theres a horrendous ticking coming from fuel rely. is the fuel relay fooked? or is it still the inertia switch that has been activated some how due to the car sitting or ecu reset cos battery will of died.....
