When i start my 6 the rev counter doesnt work (doesnt move off zero) for the first 10 seconds or so then works as normal. Also when i switch it off the speedo needle twitches around zero very quickly and makes a slight clicking sound.

Ive had no issues with the speedo not working and the rev counter works fine after about ten seconds when its flicked off zero.

If it stops working its probs the speedo drive cog that sits in the gearbox.

Mine has never not worked, just twitches after you switch off the ignition...wierd

Its now had a new battery as the old one was knackered, no change. I asked Carl about it when it was having a cambelt and he said it was most likely a fault with the clocks. Ive just got used to it now.
