Ok ive changed my driver door over today for a replacement.

Electrics work but the window winds down ok but when i go to wind it up the left side of the glass (when sat in the car - next to wing mirror) seems to get held up by resistance in the runner and so the glass comes up at an angle.

There is a green clip holding the centre of the glass to the runner but my question is should there be another clip at the left side of the glass also so that side comes up straight too??

Need some help asap please will be getting darker soon!

Thanks

Not to worry....sorted. Little grey clip that fits onto the right of the glass and goes up the seals of the door had snapped.

Just nabbed the one from my old door and its now working.....but it really does go up slowley and seems to struggle like its resisting against something!

Might just need lubing up! LOL

Yep, just grease it and try and separate the seal so that it doesn't stick.

You'll need to throw money at the car. Not on parts. Just stand near your car and throw loose change at it, I find this increases performance for a short period of time

You may need to take the door apart and check the white runner at the front end of the door. A couple of guides on mine have snapped which means every time you open the window past half way you can see it jamming and then popping the grey clip, i've been through about 6 clips in the last year.

I changed the white plastic runner at the front of the door over to my working one in my first door.

There shouldnt be any clips at that end should there? i.e the wing mirror side of the glass?

It still struggles to go up though. Now i am going to have to somehow grease the seals of the door frame in a probably vain hope it will help! Guns
