let my mate take my car for a drive and as my seats are fixed and he's a bit taller than me.. the plastic clip under the throttle pedal came out of the whole... it looks like a little tooth or something hoolds in from comeing through the hole?? i had a cable tie in the glove box and its held in... Can i replace the clip or do i need a new cable?

I doubt you'll be able to get the clip by itself, but the full throttle cable kit is only about a tenner anyway.

Treat yourself Yes

If you leave the outer sleeve where it is, then it's a piece of cake.

Fit the new clip onto the new cable, then unscrew the old cable from the throttle body.

Pull the wire through into the cabin. Push the new cable back through, reattach to the throttle, clip onto the pedal, job done Thumbs up

Had a look at a new cable and the only thing thats wrong with mine the the pathetic weak little plastic teeth on the clip hav snapped off. So the cable tie tightened wedged between the lip on the end and the pedal its probably stronger so will put a dab of glue on cable tie and leave for now. Will upload a pic later.
