put it this way, the V6 in the 406 makes 200+ on the same Throttle body...

and as far as I know Rich above makes mental power with his LOL

its a shit job anyways. ur not suposed to have the inlet polished!! but its bassically the same design as the longmans jobbie which was coupled to there inlet manifold and that used to see about 270bhp so its a good method, just those ones are shite. spend your money elsewhere.

Why do you think the V6 run the same throttle body or do you just mean size?
The V6 ones I've seen do look similar but are definitly not the same.

To the original question I would say it's not worth it, it's not impossible to improve on the standard one but for a standard engine there is little to no point.

the throttle bodie, inlet and a good cam 285 for example it will see very good power gains

they are the same as the v6 one

as are the gaskets which i have here, same part number etc

have noticed from the gasket though that the end closest to the manifold isnt round.

Have just looked on service box as you made me curious now, when I looked at the one on Rich's V6 I thought it looked the same but I'm sure when I looked closely I could see something was different.

Service box list two different part numbers for the V6 and Gti6 engine and the Gti6 one is £100 more expensive so something must be different surely...

You are correct about the seals sharing the same part number although the picture on service box makes them look totally different Crazy
