Would suggest something more like plus gas as it will have rusted.Cut a slot down the centre of the bore with a hacksaw blade if it's that bad. It took me a fair while to get that pipe out last time I tried. ________________________________________ I'm Si btwNight Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |

Result! With a clear head today i went up the unit cut pipe so it had about 1" of pipe proud clamped mole grips to it and hammered it upwards a little at a time all the way round and it popped out with little effort Cleaned new rad socket up caked black instant gasket in just incase so all worked out Even managed to panel it up in a few short hours Needs a small 2" patch of welding on front where some knob has jacked it up in the wrong place in the past destroying the rubber underseal but i will try and find time to do this next weekend Thanks for posts guys its getting there |
