I'm getting some Federal 595 RS-R's (R888 equivalents with more tread and less price!) but they only come in 195/50/15 and I know standard is 195/55/15. Is it ok to go with a 50 profile tyre over a 55 profile tyre. I realise it will knock my speedo out and maybe slightly less top end.

R888s don't come in 195/55/15 either so people that run them will be using 195/50/15. Plenty of people use 50 profiles all the time, they will just increase your arch gap if you've not lowered the car.________________________________________ Renault Megane Renaultsport 230 F1 Team R26 |

Thanks for that, just ordered them now!Nearly half the price of R888's, and they still have 8mm tread! I've ran them before, and there an awesome tyre! |
