I've got two sat here and both are completely dead. Got a brand new set of CR2025 batteries and can't get anything (did the phone camera test). |

To be fair there's not much else you can say lol, bit of a pointless topic really. Sorry chaps.If anyone else has a working IR keyfob and they wish to rub it in, now is the time. And when someone finds this thread searching for an answer to their keyfob woes, you can also rub it into them as well. |

I've got 2 knackered ones and one that works - not ideal when you take the working one with you but not the car and the mrs rings up wanting to use the car but the key doesn't work - while it's easy to get in and silence the alarm, telling the mrs how to do it somehow leads to the alarm going off and an argument..... |

Buy another IR fob / key off ebay, put your key blade and immobiliser chip in it and programme it to your car thats what i did and it worked on my old 6________________________________________ Cherry Red 306 HDIChampionship White Integra DC5 Type R |

If it makes u feel better i spent £4 on duracell batteries for mine cos normal ones didnt last, and these didn't last longer than 3 days either.________________________________________ My GTi6 track projectWhite Rallye project |
