I'll let you know - it will be early December though.

I'll be staying at a mates Dad's place in Somerset West, near Capetown.

I drove one of these from Johannesburg to Cape Town via the scenic route. Best road trip you could imagine!

Good luck with the build, keep us updated on your progress Thumbs up

Yes exactly! But with a couple of random detours like heading into the mountains in Swaziland to visit a 'special herb' plantation and into St. Lucia to hunt for grazing hippos at night. I did the bungee too, amazing. And fulfilled a lifelong dream of surfing at J-Bay.
Some amazing roads in SA, and some pretty hairy ones!
Oh, and you've never seen a pothole until you've driven in Africa! LOL

Sorry to go o/t

Good stuff, yeh some of the road were just epic, did take some bad wrong turns though, heading to a party in Pretoria and ended up pretty deep in to Soweto No and somewhere very off the beaten track driving down to Durban to get some Smoke and i think it was market day. got some very funny looks being the only white kids for around 100 miles in a little corsa Laugh my ass off but the jump was awesome, now need to find the highest comercial skydive Hyper (any ideas where this is btw anyone! google has failed me)

you can import the car as a breaker and can import as many cars as you like but its a huge tax. mate imports 4x4s without engines and gearboxes and imports those elsewhere......
I lived in Hatfield PA never saw a 306 pug, though hundreds of renaults!!
