Right then, got to the car this morning, no start. nothing, no ignition nothing. lights working but nothing else. after wiggling the ignition switch in the ignition postition, got the ignition lights to flash on a couple of times? Took the ignition switch apart, found it a little dirty, cleaned it now nothing.
Alarm is working and presuming the immobilser prevents the car from starting I should still get the ignition lights on right? Also got 12v to the switch and looks like the switch is directing the power through the switch correctly.....maybe?

please help.....!?!?

top of the gearbox plus one to the chassis leg just in front of the battery tray.

though if wiggling the ignition key had an effect, I'd get down the scrapyard for a replacement, they're all the same on 306's, likely to be so on most pugs and citroens of a similar era.

if you want, you could just hotwire the bugger though LOL pretty bloody easy and if you have the key then the immobiliser will disarm Thumbs up

I'll have a look for the earths......

Hopefully got a replacement switch coming soon, not paying £60 from GSF though......

I've already tried hot wiring the ba5tard but still no joy, just wondering if i've blown a fuse now or i've got a funny relay? If i have any idea which one might of went? I'm guessing the 60 amp fuses by the battery are a good guess unless there some more I don;t know of?!?!

All fuses intact, earths look ok.
Just used a power probe from the battery straight to the connectors after the igniton switch (parallel to the battery) and get the ignition on and the starter motor kicking over. I'm also geting 12v to the switch from the dash connectors, so i'm guessing its the switch. The doubt i've got is the switch physically looks like its working?!?!?
Wondering if anyone is familar with the switchs/ignition wiring or is there an ignition module/other relays/fuse I should be looking at?

cheers
