hi, does anyone know how to clean the air intake manifold and the part of the engine which the manifold bolts onto need a clean can i spray something like carb cleaner into the engine

I used a high pressure washer stuck it down each pipe on the manifold and blasted away. Was all shiny inside after that LOL. Me myself ended up being covered in oil vapor slagLOL.

Got to disassemble it first though.

ok, thanks, after thats done do that how long have you got to let it dry for? also the manifold connects to the back of the engine theres 4 holes going into the engine block is there also a way to clean them out or should i leave them alone

Leave them theres no real need to and the mani will be dry wen its dry. Jus check it and let it drip dry

tape the holes up, leave one, fill with petrol then leave it for an hour or 2, turn it over leave again then empty out. nice and clean Big grin
