im looking to be spraying my front and back bumpers just wondering what the right amount of coats to put on would twon coats of primers two coats of paint and two coats of lacquer be enought?

There's no real 'right' way to do it. It's very dependent on the paint and primer type, how well prepared the surface is and how well the paint adheres to it. Just bear in mind that lots of thin coats will give you a much better finish than fewer thick coats. Be patient with it and you'll be glad you were. Thumbs up

Enough primer to cover your prepped area. Enough paint to cover your primer, and two/three coats of clear-coat.

As said, though, it really does depend on what products you're using.

2 coats of primer
3 coats of colour
4coats of lacquer

just take your time with prepping Smile

my whole engine bay is rattle cans [mixed to sigma blue though] and with the right prep + laquer they withstand anything, have had the 150degree steam cleaner on it at point blank range and no peeling etc, very hard wearing
