i've found that my rallyes leaking fuel from on of the pipes at the top of the fuel tank,
in order to sort it i need to drop the tank down.
My local mechanic said that on some 306's the back axle is in the way, so has to be moved. Is this the case for a rallye or is it much easier? (i hope)
thanks

i've found all pipes easily accessible from underneath and also from the top in the part where the circle hole is cutout of the shell to access the fuel pump

Back axle isn't in the way to my knowledge. There is a post on here somewhere where I posted some photos of my tank when hunting a diesel leak. It will be the tank top breather pipe, the corrugated one. Failing that, it'll be the rubber 90 degree elbow.

You can, but to replace it it's a b*tch without suspending the right hand side of the tank.

theres a green and a white bit on the top, its just seems to be comeing out a badly clamped pipe on the white bit. Which i cant get too.
So should be relatively easy if the axles stays in place.
Just need to use a full tank by the weekend
