Just after some advice on tyres pleaseWink

195/45 16's seem to be most peoples choice, but they reduce the overall wheel/tyre size by 14mmUnsure

195/50 16's are a nearer match,they increase overall size by 5mm.Wink

Or 205/45 16's are also close, they reduce the overall size by 5mm.

Anyone tried 195/50's at all?Smile

I've had both, the 50's were more comfortable and made less road noise than the 45s, but to drive the difference was otherwise unnoticeable.

Would say though, if lowering the car at all, they sit better on 45s and just generally look a bit smarter.

depending on cost, i will be going to 195/50 as with the 195/45 setup i feel every f*cking bump in sheffield, believe me there are more bumps than scroungers on the dole.

205's were good on a 7" wide TD rim, AdamB had rainsports on his wallye with these.

I had 195/45 and if I kept the car I would have gone to 205/45 with it being lowered 30mm, 45 was a fine profile.

205/45/16s on mine with no rubbing. Was fairly low on the front (-45), not so on the rear (-20).
