Hi is this a faily straight forward job. Jack the front up, take front wheels off, adjust coilover. Do the same with the back. Or is it more complicated? Car must currently be on the lowest setting and is undrivable as it will bottom out on any speed bump. Below are a couple of pics of what is fitted. |

adjusting height at the rear involves removing the torsion bars and re-setting their position.that aint half a crusty example!! has it lived in the sea? ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

depends how mechanically adept you are, I don't find them any issue whatsoever.given its that low though I would be more inclined to get another beam stick new bearings an seals into it and do a swap. cars lowered that far don't tend to be done properly and in my experience are likely to be severely worn. There is an FAQ on here about Beams. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I'll check out the FAQ thanks. I dont think I'll be attempting it. Doing the beam, bearings and seals does sound like a good idea cheers |

Well had a mate whos a mechanic round tonight and even he was shocked how low the car was. He had a quick look and we've worked out that it looks like the suspension I actually have is either these or a previous version.Spax Krypton Manual So from the manual looks like the cars lowered 75mm and on 45 profile tyres. So all going well and the suspensions in good condition I should get them adjusted to a 40mm drop with 50 profile tyres and should be looking like some of these 40mm dropped 6s Found an old for sale thread and they look like whats in my pics |
