Thought i would get rid of all my other threads and make one project thread i can update. Most of the hard work was done by Tobeski who owned the car in 2009 before it went to Carl (mechanical repairs) for a bit of TLC before I got my grubby mits on it over the christmas / new year period (09/10). It was charged by lynx in Spetember.

Curerent Spec

Pro Race 1.2's wrapped in PZero Nero's
Solid rear mounts on a refurbed beam
Koni Shocks + Eibach Springs
Rich_W roller bearing bushes
Rich_W lightened flywheel
GE quick shift and a shortened Gear Stick
Megane R26 Brembo's on V6 discs
Longlife full system (currently de-catted)
KD strut brace
Aero Wipers
HID Lights
Low boost supercharged and all the gubbins that goes with it
Boost Gauge
Wideband Lambda and AFR Gauge
Rich W crank pulley

Not entirely sure on where to go with it this year, was considering selling over christmas but have found the love again.
Will have a few spare quid hopefully this year and i am planning on a couple of track days and hopefully a ring trip.
Will either go for a quaife or tidy up the exterior removing the battered front bumper and replacing it with a carbon one, some carbon mirrors and re-furb of the wheels in a darker colour to match. Not sure yet.

Any who a couple of pics

Pretty boring as i suppose seen one charged china seen them all!

Quaifes are regarded as dog poo so either tart up the exterior or buy a TranX plate diff. Smile

Lovely car, I remember Berger wanting to buy it before you charged it.

Very lucky! I forgot to take a picture but the lower cambelt cover was ripped to shreds!

Bit of a ball ache of a job, the 22mm bolt holding the pulley on just wouldnt come undone, after around 30 minutes of trying we gave up and managed to find someone that lent us an air gun, with that swapping the pulley took around 2 minutes.

Got rich putting together a list of high boost parts then it will be a choice between that and an Evo, currently swayed by the evo but we will have to see

I'm having a mate weld on an extra boss for the AFR, leave the standard all plugged in and just switch the output to the ecu to the AEM one.

Just hard finding a spare weekend

Well finally finished my weekend jobs! First up was the knocking. Out came the wishbones ash sent me weeks a go complete with 18mm ball joints.... Nope 16mm riveted on. Balls.

Never mind, off we go into the workshop to use the grinding wheel, that was taking to long so up it went onto the vertical miller, once we had it level it was easy peasy.

Quick trip to gsf for some 18mm ones and then back to the car. Jacked it up and following the guide on here and owains project thread I set about it. Whipped out my new ball joint hammer (awesome tool) and then realised that I wasn't 100% sure if mine were 16 or 18. Turns out that they were 18mm.

Lowered the car nipped all the bolts up tight and went for a slow drive, knocking was gone but it drove like a pig. Quick trip and some laser alignment sorted that out.

Today's job was fit the blueflame system, apart from realising I needed new rubber hangers that required a trip to 3 exhaust places until I found some suitable, turns out ford hangers work the best for this exhaust. Still bedding it In so don't know what the final sound will be but so far I love it! Hear the charger so much more now and the sound is ace!

Tailpipe won't be to everyones taste but it's growing on me

Also wired in my AFR gauge, no point in putting up any photo’s, looks pretty cool though! Mine is not plumbed into the ECU it runs off a second lambda boss that was put on by blue flame when I ordered the exhaust.
Got some RR printouts to

Wheel horse power showing a good strong boost and an unbelievable AFR, the tuning place where I got the rolling road didn’t think they could get an AFR as good as mine on an aftermarket ECU which is a credit to the map developed by lynx and chipwizards. Should really have pushed it to the redline to get my pub talk bragging figures up but oh well

I got it rolling roaded at the same place I did when it was standard to compare results, I could have gone to a more local one but I have been told there results make you think your 1.2 corsa delivers 300bhp.
As you can see, close to 90bhp increase which I am chuffed with

Corten miller is absolutely on the money with regards to RR results.

It's regularly calibrated and they show you if you ask. When my friend and i attended in our Rovers my mate's was freshly rebuilt and totally standard engine wise and made factory figures to the digit.

Good result that, my Rallye will be up there when completed, if i ever come home. Laugh

sits around 14.8 on idle, as you get quicker it moves into the 12.s when the boost gauge reads max vacuum it goes to around 15-16 and sometimes reads --

live and earth from the.boost gauge then the main wiring harness goes straight into the lambda which is in a second lambda boss about 4" down from the standard one. Excuse the poor quality

Yes

Very keenly priced, and don't rush it through to get someone else on. Smile

In the middle of nowhere though haha.

Yeah out Boston way but miles from any where, when I was there they had a 1.5k civic that a customer was spending 14k turning it into a 500bhp turbo, crazy!
