Ive forgotten all the info for service box like a tool Doh LOL and would like to know if the speedo sensor is the same on the hdi as the gti6 ?

Ive just bought a hdi to run around in as the dimma is just way to crap on juice and the speedo doesnt work on it, no speed, no millage increase and no millage trip thingymabob increase.

If they are the same, im hoping that is the problem, and i can use a spare one i have.

I'm prety sure they are the same i've used a 1.8 5speed sensor on the 6 box

If you need one Dan, pretty sure I have one available from my Rallye (it's a white sensor right?!).

According to Servicebox yes, GTI-6 and HDI share the part Yes
