I m looking at some 15mm “bolt on” spacers so I can fit some 206 gti wheels to the 306. I am looking for reassurance. Are they fine for track use?

I am looking at H&R or Eibach ones.

Thanks
Chris

I don't think 15mm can be bolt on (30mm and thicker can)
You'll need hub-centric ones, in 4*108 with a 65.1mm centre. You will need longer bolts.

I personally prefer not using spacers but when used correctly they should be fine Smile

Christ think of the weight gain though.... the 206 rims aren't light for track work...

Id say your ok for track use with the spacers as ive ran with 20mm spacer for a year, but why would you want to run with the 17's on, have you got big brakes?

I have read some threds for use with longer bolt ones. Its the bolt on then bolt your wheel to them.

As for weight the tsw 17's that are on the car right now are 19kg where the 206 ones are 14kg. I need 16" rims because of the brembos.

Also the car is an every day car to and if I put Speedline Turini’s on I think Chavs will be killing them selfs to steel them!

Anyway change of plan I will just get hubsentric with longer bolts. People are ok with them and have no problems. I was just thinking to use the bolt on ones I would be able to use the original pug nuts. The track thing with the 206 wheels is a worst case I hope to get some track only wheels with r888’s on. What do people recommend am I on the ball with the speedlines?

The car is looking good Ksung

They are called Nimrods. But Nimrods are the wheels that came on 206CC's and the like, they are the wrong offset for a 306 and really require spacers otherwise you get wheel wobble at speed.

Ourogans are the wheels that came on 406's and have an offset that is right for 306's.

They aren't light at all, I've only kept mine for daily duty. If you are going for a performance track wheel try some C5 steelies.

Heres mine with no spacers -

Also, heres a set of 15mm bolt on hubcentric spacer - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/15MM-4x108-HUBCENTRIC-SPACER-M12-x-1-25-CITROEN-PEUGEOT-/390180862298?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item5ad897795a#ht_735wt_905
